Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 herein to consider the representation dated 01.03.2017 of the petitioner herein and convene a meeting to ensure peaceful celebration of annual festival and day to day to worship in Arulmigu Sri Mangala Mariamman Temple, Anna Nagar, Ulipuram Village and Annual Festival.

ORDER

The prayer sought for in this present petition is to direct the respondents 1 and 2 herein to consider the representation dated 01.03.2017 of the petitioner herein and convene a meeting to ensure peaceful celebration of annual festival and day to day to worship in Arulmigu Sri Mangala Mariamman Temple, Anna Nagar, Ulipuram Village and Annual Festival.

2. It is brought to the notice of this court that the third respondent has filed O.S.No.244 of 2013 on the file of District Munsif Court, Attur seeking for permanent injuction against the petitioner herein from entering the Temple and interfere with the celebration of the Temple Festival and his right to worship in the Temple. Since the said suit is pending, It will not be appropriate to interfere and direct the police to give protection for conducting the festival. If at all the petitioner is aggreived, he shall approach the same Court seeking for such a protection.

3. With above observations, this Writ Petition stands closed. Consequently, Connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
