ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for direction directing the third respondent to register the FIR in view of the order passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kumarapalayam in Crl.M.P.No.295 of 2022, dated 18.02.2023.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondents 1 to 4 and perused the materials placed on record.

3. On the complaint lodged by the petitioners as against the respondents 5 to 11, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kumarapalayam in Crl.M.P.No.295 of 2022, by an order dated 18.02.2023 directed the third respondent to conduct preliminary enquiry and file a final report.

4. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 submitted that on receipt of the direction from the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kumarapalayam, the third respondent conducted a preliminary enquiry and it is pending for further enquiry.

5. In view of the above, the third respondent is directed to complete the enquiry and file a final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kumarapalayam, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that if any cognizable offence is made out, the third respondent is directed to register the FIR and report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kumarapalayam.

6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
