Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents, their men, subordinates or agents from disturbing /interferring with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the petitioner in respect of 20 cents of land comprised in S.No.34/2 (Old No.34/17) in Sannanallur Village, Nannilam Taluk, Thiruvarur District covered under Patta No.144, dated 12.05.2011 and Settlement Deed in Doc. No.2324/2010 dated 20.08.2010 registered at SRO, Nannilam except by due process of law.

ORDER

The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents submits that she has received a letter from the third respondent stating that the subject land absolutely belongs to the first petitioner and the respondents have no intention of disturbing the petitioners peaceful possession and enjoyment of the same. The said letter is taken on file.

2. Recording the aforesaid letter issued by the third respondent to the learned Additional Government Pleader, High Court, Madras, the writ petition is disposed of, as the relief sought for by the first petitioner in this writ petition has been achieved. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
