ORDER

This Court, by order dated 05.08.2013 in Crl.O.P.No.19963 of 2013, disposed of the Crl.O.P. directing the second respondent (respondent herein) to complete the investigation and file final report as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Since the said direction of this Court has not been https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ complied with, the petitioner has filed the present Contempt Petition.

2. Today, when the Contempt Petition is taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, submitted that after completion of investigation, the FIR was closed by the respondent in Crime No.496 of 2010, as civil suit is pending between the parties and RCS notice has also been served on the petitioner. Hence, nothing further survives for consideration in this contempt petition, which is accordingly closed. If the petitioner feels further aggrieved, he is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
