Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a direction in the nature of Writ of Declaration, declaring the entire selection process followed by the 1st respondent for selection of candidates for Group-II posts, both interview posts and noninterview posts by conducting CSSE-I examinations for the year 2009-2011 by the 1st respondent pursuant to the Advertisement Nos.258 dated 30.12.2010, 265 dated 08.02.2011 and 280 dated 11.06.2011 as illegal, void and unconstitutional and consequently direct the 1st respondent to start the selection process afresh following the relevant rules scrupulously in a 1/4
transparent manner, viz, to publish in the website the vacany position post wise and community wise according to 200 point roaster; to publish the complete details of all provisionally selected candidates for inter viz., names, date of birth, reg.no., sex community, etc., overall and community wise well advance before the interview; to publish similar details for all the applied and eligible preference categories like destitute widow, physically handicapped etc.
, in complete transparent manner in the website community wise; thereafter to conduct interview and publish the selection list for interview posts post-wise showing the aforesaid complete details along with marks obtained following 200 point roaster; thereafter to publish the available eligible candidates with the aforesaid complete details well in advance before calling for counseling for non-interview posts; thereafter to call for counseling for the non-interview posts and thereafter to prepare provisional selection list for both interview and non-interview posts and publish the same in the website with above stated complete details of selected candidates and to give reasonable time for giving objections by the non-selected candidates and to release the selection list after considering the objections disclosing the aforesaid complete details in the website and pass such further orders.

Today, 12.03.2024, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the 2/4
learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous and he has also made an endorsement to that effect in the case bundle.
2. In view of the above submission coupled with the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
