O R D E R

This Court passed an order dated 4 March 2015 in W.P.No.4892 of 2015, directing the petitioner to join duty on or before 09.03.2015 and thereafter to submit a representation for transfer. The petitioner has filed this contempt petition on allegation that the respondent has violated the order passed by this Court.

2. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondent on instructions submitted that the petitioner joined duty on 21.05.2015. Even thereafter, he has not submitted any representation, requesting transfer, pursuant to the liberty given by this Court.

3. The factual matrix indicates that the petitioner failed to join duty before the cut off date prescribed by this Court. Even after joining service at the transferred place, the petitioner has not given any representation to the respondent seeking transfer to a nearby place. Such being the factual position, there is no question of initiating contempt proceedings against the respondent.

The contempt petition is dismissed.
