ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed alleging willful disobedience of the orders and directions issued in W.P.No.6277 of 2015, dated 02.02.2016.

2. By the said order, this Court directed the District Collector, Kancheepuram, to take action for recovery of the amount computed by the second respondent in the writ petition under the Workmen Compensation Act.

3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ petitioners that after contempt notice was issued, the

third respondent in the writ petition, viz., B.Krishnan has filed I.A.No.41 of 2017 for setting aside the order dated 27.08.2013, passed in W.C.No.375 of 2011. Further it is submitted that the said I.A.No.41 of 2017 was allowed and the main matter is pending before the Deputy Commissioner of Labour - II, Chennai - 6.

4. In the light of the above, the Contempt Petition stands disposed of by directing the Deputy Commissioner of Labour-II, Chennai - 6, to hear and dispose of the matter, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
