O R D E R

By order dated 10.02.2015, this Court directed the parties to maintain status quo for a period of three weeks in M.P.No.1 of 2015 in W.P.No.3204 of 2015 filed by the petitioner to grant an order of interim injunction restraining the respondents from in any way dispossessing the petitioners in respect of their lands in Survey No.57/1 as per sub divided Survey Nos.57/1 to 57/11 of Koyambedu Village, Chennai of an extent of 2.02 acres pending disposal of the Writ Petition in W.P.No.3204 of 2015. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioners are still in possession of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

property and that the respondents have placed a Board stating that the property in Survey Nos.57/1 to 57/11 in T.S.No.2 belongs to CMDA and that an order of status quo was ordered in W.P.No.1796 of 2015 and W.P.No.3204 of 2015. Except placing the Board in the disputed land, the respondents have not ventured into taking possession of the property from the hands of the petitioners.

3.The 3rd respondent in his counter has stated that the lands are kept intact without any further development and that the same would continue till the disposal of the Writ Petition.

4.Admittedly, the respondents have not taken any steps to dispossess the petitioners from the property. Hence, I do not find any reason to entertain the Contempt Petition. In view of the same, the Contempt Petition stands closed. va Sd/- JOINT REGISTRAR (OS) Dated at Madras this the day of 2016.
