ORDER
The prayer made in the writ petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 5 and 6 to take action on the petitioner's complaint dated 16.12.2016.
2. It is the grievance of the petitioner that as against the respondents 1 to 4, who are the husband and in-laws of the petitioner, she has lodged a complaint dated 16.12.2016 with the respondents 5 and 6 alleging that she was subjected to harassment and torture on account of dowry demand. However, till date, no action has been taken by the respondent police. Hence, this petition.

3. Heard Mr.T.S.N.Prabhakaran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.Balamurugan, learned Government Advocate, who took notice for the respondents 5 and 6.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the fifth respondent to consider the complaint of the petitioner dated 16.12.2016 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as to respondents 1 to 4. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
