For Petitioner : Mr.N.Nithianandam in all the Crl.O.Ps For Respondent : Mr.E.Raja Additional Public Prosecutor in all the Crl.O.Ps COMMON ORDER These Criminal Original Petitions have been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking an order to direct the fourth respondent police to register a case on the complaint of the petitioners and investigate the same in accordance with law.
2. Heard both sides.
3. It is averred in the petition in Crl.O.P.No.31519 of 2014 that the petitioner was cheated by Anthirias, Charles and two others to grab his properties by creating forged unregistered Will and settlement deeds. He lodged a complaint with the respondents police on 25.05.2014, but no action was taken. In four other Criminal Original Petitions also, the petitioners averred that their lands are attempted to be grabbed by same persons with the same forged documents.
4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that case has been registered in FIR No.81 of 2005 under Sections 423, 424, 464, 465, 468 and 420 r/w 149 IPC, on the complaint given by one Roksagayaraj, who is the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.31523 of 2014 and investigation is in progress. He further submits that with respect to the complaints given by other petitioners, they will be examined as witnesses, as the allegations made by them is also on the basis of the same forged documents.
5. Recording the submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, these Criminal Original Petitions are closed.
