This writ petition has been filed to quash the order passed by the 2nd respondent vide proceedings No.V/42870/2011-14 dated 09.10.2013 and consequently direct the respondents to reinstate the petitioner into service with consequential and other attendant benefits.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner passed away on 08.03.2022 since the writ petition was filed for reinstatement of the petitioner into service and the petitioner has passed away. Hence, nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication.

3. In the result, the writ petition stands dismissed as abated. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 26.03.2024 cda Index : Yes/No 2/4
