The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1to 7 to lay a road immediately in Survey Nos.24/3, 24/3B2 and 34/1 in Achalvadi Village, Harur Taluk and Dharmapuri District or alternatively allow the petitioner and other villagers to lay road on their expenses by giving necessary police protection.

2. When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, Mr. P.Muthusamy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the official respondents have re-laid the road recently, and therefore, the prayer sought for in the Writ Petition has become infructuous,

3. Mrs. K. Bhuvaneswari, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and 5 submitted that the official respondents had re-laid the road.
