Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, to direct the I Additional Family Court, Chennai to dispose of O.P.No. 1140 of 2013 within a period of two months. For Petitioner : Ms.Geeta Remaseshan

O R D E R

On the earlier occasion this Court by order dated 28.01.2016 in C.R.P.(PD). Nos. 229 and 230 of 2016 directed the I Additional Family Court, Chennai to dispose of both the petitions in O.P.Nos. 1140 and 4139 of 2013 filed by the husband and wife respectively within the period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

2. Even though, a direction was given as early as in the year 2016 and order copy was delivered on 17.02.2016, The Original Petition was not disposed of but still is pending in the Ist Additional Family Court, Chennai.

3. Aggrieved over the delay in disposing of the Original Petition the petitioner/husband is before this Court.

4. Considering the facts and Circumstances of the case and the previous order passed by this Court, without going on merits of the case, a direction is given to the Ist Additional Family Court, Chennai to dispose of the both the petitions in O.P.Nos. 1140 and 4139 of 2013, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Ist Additional Family Court, Chennai is directed to take up the matter on day to day basis, pass orders and complete the proceedings within stipulated time.

5. With above observation, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
