Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 2nd and 3rd, in particular, the 2nd respondent to pass orders based on the enquiry conducted on 23.11.2017 for the representation of the petitioners dated 17.07.2017 for issue of patta for the property belongs to the petitioners in Survey No.198/2, New Survey No.777/23, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District within specified time limit as directed by the Hon'ble Court.

Mr.S.Soundararajan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, this main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioners seek for a mandamus directing the second and third respondents to pass orders on the representation of the petitioners dated 17.07.2017, wherein and whereby, they sought for issuance of patta in respect of the property in Survey No.198/2, New Survey No.777/23, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District.
3. The petitioners claim that they are the absolute owners of the subject matter property for which they seek patta from the Revenue Official. It is stated that even though, the second respondent conducted an enquiry at the instance of the first respondent as early as on 23.11.2017, based on the representation given to the third respondent on 17.07.2017, till this date, no orders have been passed by the respondents.
4. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioners, as it is for the respondents to consider and decide the same. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 17.07.2017 on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing all the parties concerned, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
