PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C to direct the respondent police to issue the fresh non traceable certificate (document No.408/1980 dated 11.04.1980 on the file the Sub registrar of Kinathukadvu) to the petitioner based on the representation of the petitioner dated 22.01.2023.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to issue the fresh non traceable certificate (document No.408/1980 dated 11.04.1980 on the file the Sub registrar of Kinathukadvu) to the 1/4

petitioner based on the representation of the petitioner dated 22.01.2023. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had lost his original sale deed dated 11.04.1980 in Document No.408 of 1980, Sub-Registrar of Kinathukadvu. Hence, he have a representation dated 22.01.2023 before the respondent police.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the Director General of Police issued a Circular Memorandum in Rc.No.2029209/General.1(1)/2022 dated 01.04.2022 with regard to the procedure to be followed for the issuance of Non Traceable Certificate. He further submitted that if the petitioner gives the representation following the instructions given in the Circular Memorandum, necessary action would be taken.

4. Recording the same, this Court directs the petitioner to give fresh representation based on the instructions given in the Circular Memorandum Rc.No.2029209/General.1(1)/2022 dated 01.04.2022. On receiving such representation, the respondent Police is directed to dispose of the 2/4

representation within a period of four weeks thereafter.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Origianl Petition is disposed of.
