Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the order of the respondent in Letter No.917/S/P/LS/2010 Law (LS) Department dated 29.02.2012 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to revise and re-fix the pay scale of the petitioner in accordance with the recommendations of the sixth pay commission or

UGC corresponding to the existing pay of Rs.10,000/- per month with effect from 01.01.2006 and to pay the arrears of pay and allowances to the petitioner.

COMMON ORDER These Writ Petitions have been filed challenging the order passed by the first respondent dated 29.02.2012, thereby rejecting the request made by the petitioner to regularize their service. 2.

While pending the writ petitions, the first respondent passed order in G.O.Ms.No.354 Law (LS) Department dated 22.06.2023, thereby the service of part time Lecturers in the Government Law colleges were regularized and ordered to regulate their pay scale corresponding

State scale of pay from 01.01.2006 in pay band Rs.9,300-34,800 + grade pay Rs.4,800/- viz., 6th Pay Commission and in level Rs.36,900-1,16,600 from, 01.01.2016 viz., 7th Pay Commission. Though the first respondent passed order, even till today the petitioners were not regularized and their arrears of salary were not disbursed.

Considering the facts and circumstances, the first respondent is directed to implement the government order in G.O.Ms.No354 Law (LS) Department dated 22.06.2023 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

With the above directions, all the Writ Petitions are disposed of Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to cost.

Post the matter on 04.09.2023 under the caption "for reporting compliance".
