O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register an FIR on the basis of the petitioner's complaint CSR No.835 of 2014 dated 27.11.2014 and investigate and take appropriate action in according to law.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. It is seen that this petitioner has given a complaint dated 09.11.2014, for which, petition enquiry was conducted in CSR No. 835 of 2014. It is alleged by the petitioner that one Antony Babu is harassing her.

4. The learned Additional public Prosecutor submitted that since the complaint is of the year 2014, there are no records available with the respondent police.

5. Under such circumstances, no positive direction can be issued to the respondent police to register an FIR on the complaint dated 09.11.2014 in CSR No.835 of 2014. However, if the said Antony Babu is continuously harassing the petitioner, it is open to the petitioner to go in person and lodge a fresh complaint to the respondent police and on such complaint being given, the same shall be enquired into and take action in accordance with law.

In view of the above, the criminal original petition is closed.
