2/6 PRAYER Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to survey and fix the boundary stones for the lands (release deed Document No.2811/1972) comprised Survey Nos.210/3B, 210/3A3, 210/3D1, 226/22 and old survey No.226/2, 226/3, 226/4 to extent of 1.84 acres at Pachchal village, Thirupathur Taluk and District forthwith.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 2 nd respondent to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 12.02.2025, wherein, the petitioner is seeking for the survey of the subject property and for demarcation of boundaries.
3/6 2.Heard Mr.T.Venkatesan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, Mr.S.Jayachandran, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents and Mr.V.J.Priyadarsana, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the 4 th respondent.
3.The petitioner is placing reliance upon the Release Deed dated 10.07.1972 to substantiate his right over the property. The petitioner submitted an application and also paid the necessary charges on 12.02.2025 seeking for the survey of the subject property. Since the same was not carried out, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 2 nd and 3 rd respondents to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 12.02.2025 and conduct the survey in the subject property based on the title document and complete the process, within a period of four weeks from the date
4/6 of receipt of copy of this order. If there are any rival claims, the survey shall be conducted in their presence and if the situation warrants, the 4 th respondent shall provide police protection.
