ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the Corporation submitted that in pursuant to the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.31369 of 2018 on 29.11.2018, though belatedly, action has been taken, by putting the building under lock and seal. As against the said action taken, the aggrieved party has invoked Section 80(A) of the Tamil Nadu Country Planning Act .

2. In such view of the matter, the contempt petition stands closed. However, inasmuch as action was taken only in pursuant to the complaint given by the petitioner, liberty is given to the petitioner to implead himself as a party in the pending appeal. The respondent/Corporation is also directed to furnish the particulars of the appeal pending before the Government, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
