Respondents in both WPs Common Prayer: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of certiorarified mandamus to call for the relevant records relating to the impugned Notification for the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) - 2017, published by the first respondent, Teachers Recruitment Board, in Advertisement No.01/2017, dated 24.02.2017, with regard to Paper-II, Clause 3, "Structure and Content for TET Paper - II", of the Notification, for the selection of Graduate Teachers (B.T.Assistant) for classes vi to viii, to quash the same as arbitrary, improper, illegal, unconstitutional and contrary to the principle of merit, thereby directing the respondents herein to fix a Pass Percentage of marks in the main subject or to increase the number of questions in the main
subject within the said clause 3 of the Notification or for a separate independent selection process only for the Main Subject for candidates after having passed the TET for the selection of Qualitative and High Aptitude Graduate Teachers (B.T. Assistant) for teaching the Next Generation Children and consequently to issue fresh TNTET Notification accordingly, for the selection and appointment of the petitioner as Graduate Teachers (B.T.Assistant) on merit.

By Mr.P.Sanjay Gandhi, AGP COMMON ORDER Questioning the Clause 3 (Structure and Content for TET Paper-II) of the Notification dated 24.02.2017 issued by the first respondent / Teachers Recruitment Board, the petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking to quash the said Clause.
2. It is stated by the learned Additional Advocate General that more than seven lakh candidates are appearing for the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) which is scheduled to be held on 29.04.2017 and 30.04.2017.
3. In view of the above said submission, I am of the opinion that the challenge made by the petitioners at this last moment to quash the prospectus given in the impugned Notification cannot be entertained, for, if such a prayer is entertained, it would cause grave prejudice to the seven lakh aspirants appearing for the TET examination. Thus, on this count, the writ petitions are liable to dismissed and accordingly, they are dismissed. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
