Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider petitioner representation dated 24.07.2017 consequently direct the respondents 1 & 4 to give protection to petitioner's family members from 5th respondent and take action to remove the trees which caused damages to petitioner's building bearing D.No.49/46, Thirupur Kumaran Street, Perambur, Chennai. The prayer sought for in the petition is to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.07.2017 given to the third respondent herein.

2. Today, when the matter is called, the third respondent herein has filed a status report, stating that pending the representation, both the petitioner as well as the fifth respondent have filed the written statement stating that they will take the matter before the concerned Court of law, seeking for redressal of their grievances. It is further stated in the status report that in view of the statement given by the petitioner as well the fifth respondent, the third respondent had closed the complaint in CSR. No. 912 of 2017.

In view of the above, the prayer sought for by the writ petitioner has become infructuous. Accordingly the writ petition stands closed.
