Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the issue of hte order in Proceedings Bearing Naka.No.A7/1655//2014, dated 29.01.2015 by The District Manager, TASMAC Limited, Chennai (South) District, Ambattur, Chennai - 600 058, the Second Respondent herein in allotting the license to run the Bar at Shop No.521, Door No.1, South Boag Road, T.Nagar, Chennai - 17 to the Fourth Respondent herein and quash the same and direct the First and Second Respondents to consider the candidates opted for such license with the help of the No Objection Certificate issued by the Petitioner alone.

(through video conference) Heard Mr. D.Ashok Kumar, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. K.Sathish Kumar, Learned Standing Counsel for the First and Second Respondents and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties. The Writ Petition challenges the order in proceedings Na. Ka. No. A7/ 1655/2014 dated 29.01.2015 passed by the Second Respondent allotting the license to run the Bar at Shop No.521, Door No.1, South Boag Road, T.Nagar, Chennai - 17, to the Fourth Respondent and to direct the First and Second Respondents to consider the candidates opted for such license with the No Objection Certificate issued by the Petitioner alone. 3.

It has been brought to notice by the Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the First and Second Respondents that the TASMAC Shop No. 521, South Boag Road, T.Nagar, Chennai - 600 017 has been permanently closed after fire accident that has taken place on 12.08.2015, and he has also filed a memo dated 28.10.2020 to that effect through e-mail, which is placed on record.

In view of the subsequent events, the relief claimed in the Writ Petition does not survives for any adjudication. 5.
