Respondents Prayer:- Writ petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent herein to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's application dated 2.03.2019 & 24.07.2019 for grant of Patta in respect of the property bearing Plot Nos.47, 48 & 151 in the lay-out "Kanaga Durga Nagar" comprised in Survey No.5/1G of Grant Lyon Village, Ambattur Taluk, Thiruvallur District.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider the application made by the petitioner and to grant Patta. 2.The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the 2nd respondent submitted that notice has already been issued to the petitioner to attend for an enquiry on 17.03.2020. A copy of the notice was also furnished to this Court. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has received the notice from the 2nd respondent.

3.In view of the above development, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to proceed further with the enquiry after issuing notice to all the interested parties and after giving an opportunity and orders shall be passed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
