O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.370 of 2018 pending on the file of the respondent police.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent police conducted an enquiry and the same was closed as "Further Action Dropped" on 20.12.2018. He further submitted that the closure report was also filed before the Revenue Divisional Officer for the offence under Section 174 of Cr.P.C.

3. It is seen that the respondent ought to have filed the closure report before the concerned Judicial Magistrate.

4. In view of the above, the respondent is directed to file a closure report before the concerned Judicial Magistrate within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
