ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The submission of learned counsel for petitioner is that the order and proceedings, which have been drawn on the allegation of encroachment, are not in accordance with law and illegal.

2. The order dated 30.09.2024 passed by this Court did not decide any issue. The affidavit filed by respondent shows that after eviction orders were passed under Section 6 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905, appeals were preferred by the affected parties. Some of the appeals were allowed, whereas some of the appeals were dismissed. Those who did not get any relief by way of appeal are reported to have been removed.

3. In our opinion, no further proceedings are required to be

drawn in contempt proceedings. Rule stands discharged. Contempt petition is closed.
