ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.543 of 2020 on the file of the first respondent, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 324 and 506(ii) of IPC.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed on record.
3. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side), on instructions, would submit that the investigation in Crime No.543 of 2020 has already been completed and the final report has been filed before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Panruti, Cuddalore District on 18.07.2020.
4. In light of the submission made by the learned Government 2/4
Advocate (crl.side), this Court is of the view that the prayer sought in this petition cannot be granted. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. However, the Trial Court is directed to take cognizance of the final report filed by the first respondent in Crime No.543 of 2020, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
