Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent herein to send proposals for the payment of full family pension to the first respondent within a time period fixed by this Honourable Court and direct the first respondent to pass appropriate orders granting full family pension to the petitioner along with arrears.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to send proposals for the payment of full family pension to the first respondent within a time period fixed by this Court and to direct the first respondent to pass appropriate orders granting full family pension to the petitioner along with arrears. 2.When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that during the pendancy of the writ petition, a sum of Rs.9,44,405/- has been forwarded to the petitioner's Bank account by the respondents. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this writ petition has been partially completed. Hence, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents to settle the balance eligible amount in favour of the petitioner within a stipulated time frame and to pay monthly family pension to the petitioner.
3.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court directs the respondents to settle the balance eligible amount due to the petitioner, if any, in favour of the petitioner, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The respondents are further directed to pay the eligible family pension to the petitioner every month.
