The petitioner has come up with this writ petition, seeking to direct the respondents to dispose of his representation dated 25.03.2015, wherein and by which, he requested to promote him to the post of Assistant Commissioner of Police. According to him, the punishment of 'Censure' imposed on him could not operate as a bar in granting promotion. However, I am not inclined to express any opinion on the same. It is for the concerned authority to decide the same.
2. In view of the limited prayer made, without going into the merits of the representation dated 25.03.2015, the first respondent is directed to consider and pass orders on the representation submitted by the petitioner , dated 25.03.2015 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
