ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to call the petitioner for enquiry and give an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner whenever any document is presented for registration pertaining to the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition.

2. Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the 1st respondent. Since no adverse order is passed against the 2nd respondent in this writ petition, notice to the 2nd respondent is dispensed with by this Court.

3. According to the petitioner, out of her funds, the subject property has been purchased in the name of the 2nd respondent, who is the petitioner's husband and there is a matrimonial dispute between the petitioner and the 2nd respondent. The petitioner has raised the objections through her representation, dated 23.01.2026 with the 1st respondent objecting to registration of any document by the 2nd respondent for the subject property.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if a direction is issued to the 1st respondent to conduct enquiry by giving an opportunity to both the petitioner and the 2nd respondent whenever any document is presented by the 2nd respondent for registration pertaining to the subject property.

5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 1st respondent to put on notice the petitioner in the event of any document being presented by the 2nd respondent for registration pertaining to the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition and only after hearing the objections of the petitioner, the 1st respondent shall register any document presented by the 2nd respondent for registration. No costs.
