PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the body of the detenue namely G.Amudha, D/o.Ganeshan, aged about 13 years and produce her before the petitioner, (CWC, Chengalpet, Kancheepuram). O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by RAJIV SHAKDHER, J)

1. Ms.Shaikh Mehrunisa, advocate, says that she has ascertained that the detenue is, presently, housed in Thiruvannamalai Reception Home, which is under the control of the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), Thiruvannamalai.

2. Furthermore, learned counsel also says that she has also confirmed that the detenue/Ms.G.Amudha's pregnancy stands aborted.

3. These facts are also affirmed by Ms.Kalaiselvi, the investigating officer, who was dealing with the matter.

4. Under these circumstances, Ms.Shaikh Mehrunisa, Advocate, says that no further orders are required to be passed in the matter.

5. The petition is, accordingly, closed. If, any further orders are required to be passed concerning the detenue/Ms.Amudha, the concerned CWC, Chengalpet, Kancheepuram District, will deal with the matter.
