ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to register a case on the complaint dated 14.06.2016 given by the petitioner and investigate the same in accordance with law and to file the final report.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.T.Krishnan, learned counsel appearing for the intervenor brought to the notice of this Court that earlier, this petitioner had filed a petition in Crl.O.P.No.11570 of 2016 for a similar relief and this Court dismissed the petition on 13.06.2016 on the ground that the said complaint did not even disclose the date of commission of offence. After getting the order, this petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

has given a fresh complaint dated 14.06.2016 containing the same averments by giving the date of commission as 16.05.2016 and has filed the present petition for a direction to the respondent police to register an FIR.

3. In this petition, the petitioner has not even disclosed the fact that he has filed the Crl.O.P.No.11570 of 2016 before this Court. This amounts to suppression and this Court deprecates the complaint dated 14.06.2016. It does not inspire the confidence of this Court for issuing the direction as prayed for. Hence, the criminal original petition is dismissed with a cost of Rs.5,000/- payable by the petitioner to the Tamil Nadu State Legal Service Authority, High Court, Madras, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

In view of the above, the criminal original petition is dismissed.
