The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner prayed for interim stay of the execution of the award passed by the sole arbitrator on 31.12.2020.

2. Having regard to the fact that the award does not contain any reason except the opinion of the arbitrator, no reason whatsoever assigned in the award and that there is no reference even to the evidence and documents filed by both sides, there shall be an Order interim stay of the execution of the award.

3. Notice to the respondents returnable by 03.06.2021.

4. Private notice is also permitted.
