O R D E R

Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondents and is armed with sufficient instructions enabling a final disposal of the matter. Hence, by consent expressed by both learned counsel this writ petition is disposed finally even at the stage of admission.

2.The petitioner states that it has submitted an application for issuance of legal heirship certificate on 28.07.2021 consequent upon the demise of her husband one Mr.Narasimman, who passed away on 28.09.2005. She claims that all relevant documents including the death certificate, PAN card, Aadhar Card and Election ID card of the legal heirs were submitted.

3. Since her husband had passed away at Kuppam Village, which falls in Villupuram District, the death certificate has been issued by the office of the 2nd respondent i.e. the Tahsildar of the Villupuram Taluk Office. Thus, the 1st respondent has sought some particulars from the 2nd respondent as early as on 30.07.2021 by cover of letter dated 28.07.2021 to enable the processing of the application.

4.According to the petitioner, the particulars required have been collated by the concerned Village Officer and Revenue Inspector and handed over to the 2nd respondent, who has not forwarded of the same to R1 for further process of the petitioner's application.

5. Bearing in mind the aforesaid circumstances, a direction issued to R2 to forward the particulars called for under letter dated 28.07.2021 within a period of two (2) weeks from today. The legal heirship certificate will be issued within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of particulars from R2 by R1. If any further particulars are required, then R1 is at liberty to call upon the petitioner for production of the same. It is made clear that the entire exercise shall be completed within a period of six (6) weeks from today.
