Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the claim of the petitioner for appointment as Junior trades man (daily wage) without reference to condition mentioned in clause 3 of call letter number 734/E3E/PATHU1/TNSTC/Coimbatore/2012 dated 17.10.2012 regarding age and ITI fitter apprenticeship from any of the Tamilnadu State Transport Corporation and appoint the petitioner as Junior Trades 1/4

man(daily wage).

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the respondent to consider the claim of the petitioner for appointment as Junior trades man (daily wage) without reference to condition mentioned in clause 3 of call letter number 734/E3E/ PATHU1/ TNSTC/ Coimbatore/2012 dated 17.10.2012 regarding age and ITI fitter apprenticeship from any of the Tamilnadu State Transport Corporation and appoint the petitioner as Junior Trades man(daily wage). 2.

It is seen that the petitioner is now aged about 45 years. As such, he is barred by age for any employment. Therefore, the request made by the petitioner cannot be considered and this writ petition is devoid of merits.

Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to 2/4

costs.
