The petitioners have filed this petition to quash the STC.No.42 of 2013, on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Pondicherry, having been taken cognizance for the offences punishable under Sections 7(1)(d) of Protection of Civil Right Act-1965 and 506(i) of IPC r/w Section 34 of IPC.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are acquitted by the trial Court. Therefore, nothing survives in this petition, hence seek permission of this Court to withdraw this petition and he has also made an endorsement in the Court bundle to that effect.

3. In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 02.02.2024 Index: Yes/ No rri
