The applicant has presented this application to amend the plaint by substituting the description of the first defendant in the manner indicated in the Judge's summons. The first defendant appears to be a company in liquidation. Originally, the plaintiff described the first defendant as the Official Liquidator, High Court of Andhra Pradesh. Therefore, an amendment is prayed for to specify the name of the company in liquidation and indicate that the Official Liquidator represents such company. Although a counter has been filed by the seventh defendant, the present application is liable to be allowed given the nature of amendment requested. Accordingly, A.No.1340 of 2022 is allowed as prayed for and the plaintiff is permitted to carry out the necessary amendments to the plaint on or before 01.07.2022. Upon carrying out such amendments, the copy may be served on the defendant within a week. List the matter on 22.07.2022 for filing written arguments and convenience typed sets if necessary.
