O R D E R

1. The limited direction sought for by the petitioner is that its representation dated 21.10.2013 should be dealt with by the respondent.

1.1. To be noted, the said representation has been made by the petitioner for issuance of a temporary permit to ply the vehicle bearing Registration No.TN60-B-4447, on the diverted route, viz., Kaniyampundi to Tiruppur Old Bus Stand (via) College Road or Mangalam Road.

2. In the affidavit accompanying the Writ Petition, reasons have been set out as to why the petitioner could not ply the aforementioned vehicle on the original route. The petitioner, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

inter alia, states that on account of flash floods in the Jammanai Odai, the bridge connecting the bus stand and ABT Road junction got washed out, which made it impossible to cross over. 2.1. Paragraph 3 of the affidavit accompanying the Writ Petition, expands on the reason set out above.

3. Suffice it to say, that the petitioner has made a representation dated 21.10.2013 in this behalf. A copy of the same is appended at page 3 of the typed set of document. For the reasons given in the representation, the petitioner seeks permission to ply his vehicle on the diverted route.

4. Resultantly, in the foregoing circumstances, the respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 21.10.2013, with due expedition, though not later than six (6) weeks from today.

5. The Writ Petition is, accordingly disposed of, leaving the parties to bear the costs.
