Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to grant patta to the petitioner in respect of land comprised in S.No.468 an extent of 2.00 Acre at Kanavaiputhur Village, Kadayampatti Taluk by considering the petitioner's representation dated 22.12.2020. ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to grant patta to the petitioner in respect of the land comprised in S.No.468 to an extent of 2.00 Acre at Kanavaiputhur Village, Kadayampatti Taluk by considering the petitioner's representation dated 22.12.2020. 2.The petitioner is a Member of Nila Kudiyettra Co-Operative Society and the Society have a total extent of land of 152.88.5 Hectares. The Society came into existence in December 1938 and today it now stands dissolved. It is, in these circumstances,

the petitioner claims that he/she being a member of the Society, is enjoying the said property by raising various crops viz., Sugar Cane, Paddy, Tapioca and Coconut Trees etc. The petitioner now has filed a representation dated 22.12.2020 for grant of patta to him.

3.Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader entered appearance for the respondents and submitted that an enquiry is scheduled to take place on 12.05.2021 at 3.00 p.m at the office of the third respondent.

4.The said statement of the learned Special Government Pleader is recorded.

5.In view of the above, no further direction is required to be given except that the third respondent is directed to issue notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, provide them a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 22.12.2020 through a speaking order within a period of twelve (12) weeks (after the conclusion of the General Elections of the State Legislative Assembly - 2021) from 12.05.2021. 6.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
