ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent police to register an FIR on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 13.01.2016 investigate the matter and file a final report.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.
3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that, on the complaint dated 13.01.2016 given by the petitioner, petition enquiry was conducted and the same was closed on 28.01.2016 advising both parties to approach the matrimonial Court for appropriate relief. A copy of the Closure Report has been furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner across the bar.

4. It is seen that the petitioner has lodged a complaint dated 13.01.2016 against her husband, Samuthiram for assaulting her and relieving her of 30 sovereigns of gold. Since the allegation made in the complaint dated 13.01.2016 is a very serious allegation, the respondent police is directed to re-open the enquiry on the complaint dated 13.01.2016 and take action in accordance with law.
With the above observation, the criminal original petition is closed.
