ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to pay the compensation of Rs.50,00,000/- (Rupees Fifty Lakhs only) to the petitioner together with interest at the rate of 7.5 % per annum from the date of accident on account of the death of her husband due to electrocution.
2. Mr.T.M.Rajangam, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the 1st respondent. Mr.Madhusudhanan, learned counsel takes notice on behalf of respondents 2 to 4.

It is the case of the petitioner that her representation dated 31.10.2025 seeking compensation amount of Rs.50,00,000/- towards the death of her husband who died on 02.05.2025 due to electrocution has not been considered by the respondents till date. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition.
4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to disburse the compensation to the petitioner by considering the petitioner's representation dated 31.10.2025 within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the compensation amount of Rs.10,00,000/- will be disbursed to the petitioner in terms of the TNPDCL Proceedings No.11 dated 21.12.2024 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

In view of the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to disburse a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- as compensation amount in terms of the board proceedings dated 21.12.2024 to the petitioner within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If at all the petitioner has any grievance with regard to the quantum of compensation awarded, she is at liberty to approach the Tamil nadu District Legal Services Authority for enhancement of compensation.
7. This Writ Petition stands disposed of in the above terms. There shall be no order as to costs.
