Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct enquiry on the application of the petitioner dated 19.11.2014 and 13.02.2015 for modification / change the wrong entries in UDR Patta's and revenue records pertaining to the lands belonging to the petitioner Madam and to pass orders according to law within the time frame as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

By consent the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The petitioner claims that the petitioner Mutt has several properties at Cheyyur Taluk, Kancheepuram District the details of which have been given in paragraph no.3 of the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition and further submit that in the interregnum, some local persons in collusion with Revenue Officials, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

wrongly transferred the properties in UDR patta without any supporting documents and without putting the petitioner on notice and sold the mutt properties to third parties with the sole intention of making wrongful enrichment.

3.The petitioner in this regard, sent representation dated 19.11.2014 to the first respondent to conduct enquiry to effect change in the wrong entries in the UDR patta and revenue records pertaining to the lands belonging to the mutt and the said petition in turn was forwarded to the second respondent vide proceedings dated 09.12.2014 to make enquiry according to law. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that inspite of such direction expressed by the second respondent, no orders have been passed. 4.Heard the submission of Mr.Silambanan, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Durai Solaimalai, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice for the respondents. 5.This Court without going into the merits of the application dated 19.11.2014 and 13.02.

2015 submitted by the petitioner, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application dated 19.11.2014 and 13.02.2015 in accordance with law after putting on the notice to the persons concerned and pass orders as expeditiously as possible and not later than twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner as well as the persons concerned. 6.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
