[Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J.] The matter in issue pertains to removal of encroachment in 24 feet road connecting Karnam street, Ranganathan Street and New Balaji Nagar in Selaiyur, Tambaram, Kancheepuram District. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
The learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned standing counsel for the 2nd respondent would submit that encroachment has been removed and a metal road has already been laid. Learned Standing counsel for the 2nd respondent also assures that periodical monitoring will be done as to prevention of re-encroachment or fresh encroachment on the said road. The Court heard the submissions of Mr.T.M.Pappiah, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the 1st respondent.
In the light of the said development, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition. Accordingly, the same is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
