ORDER

In a proposed suit seeking recovery of money from the first and second defendants, the intending plaintiff has applied for leave to sue the first respondent before this Court.

2. In the draft plaint, it is stated that goods were imported through the Chennai Port. It is also stated that the goods were insured by the second respondent, which is an entity based in Chennai.

3. Upon examining the draft plaint and the averments in the affidavit in support of this application, it appears that at least a part of the cause of action has arisen within the jurisdiction of this Court. Therefore, this application is allowed by granting the applicant leave to sue the first respondent before this Court. As a corollary, the Registry is directed to number the suit, if otherwise in order.
