Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to pass an order of allotment of Flat No.14, Block No.G, 4th Floor, Sathyamurthi Nagar -1, Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board Apartment, Nandanam, Chennai - 600 035 in favour of the petitioner on the basis of Identity Card No.17894 and by taking into consideration of the order dated 12.10.1998 made in W.P.No.2055 of 1991 and the representation thereon and further representations dated 11.03.2012, 20.05.2013 and consequently direct the respondent to execute sale deed in respect of the Flat No.14, Block No.G, 4th Floor, Sathyamurthi Nagar -2, Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board Apartment, Nandanam, Chennai - 600 035.

ORDER

When the matter was listed for hearing on 17.03.2023, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Thus, this Court passed an order, directing the Registry to list the matter on 21.03.2023 under the caption "For Dismissal".

2. Even today i.e., on 24.03.2023, when the matter is taken up for hearing, none appeared for the petitioner. Thus, it is evident that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the matter. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed for non-prosecution. There will be no order as to costs.
