This matter is placed before this court on a letter received from the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Srivilliputtur, seeking extension of time of six months granted by this Court vide order dated 28.02.2025 in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.2574 of 2025 to complete the proceedings in C.C.No.134 of 2024. 2.The aforesaid extension of three months is sought on the ground that this Court has granted interim stay of all further proceedings in this case viz., Crl.O.P.(MD) No.2574 of 2025 vide order dated 06.11.2025 in Crl.R.C. (MD) No.1259 of 2025 and Crl.M.P.(MD) No.12499 of 2025, as well as in Crl.R.C.(MD) No.1251 of 2025 and Crl.M.P.(MD) No.12394 of 2025 and further extended on 08.01.2026 upto 22.01.2026. As the stay order is currently in force, the trial court is precluded from proceeding further with the framing of charges and other proceedings in this case. In such circumstances, this Court finds it appropriate to extend the time as sought. 3.Though the request seeking extension of time is dated 12.01.2026 and the period of three months will lapse on 19.04.2026, the matter is listed

only today (16.04.2026). However, in order to grant some additional time, the period is extended by one month from the date of receipt of this order. 16.04.2026 Note to office:- The Chief Judicial Magistrate,Virudhunagar District, may be apprised of the extension of time forthwith. raa
