W.P.No.29435 of 2012 : Petition praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned clarification issued by the first respondent in his proceedings Na.Ka.No.12118/D1/2011 dated 13.09.2011 in so far as paragraph 22 is concerned and quash the same and direct the respondents to promote the petitioner as middle school Tamil Pandit as per the selection list drawn as on 01.01.2012 published by the third respondent dated 17.05.2012 with all service and other monetary benefits.

JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was made by HULUVADI G.RAMESH,J) Heard Mr.P.S.Sivashanmugasundaram, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the appellants and Mrs.Dhakshayani Reddy, learned counsel for the Respondent.

2. The State has preferred this appeal, challenging the order passed by the learned single Judge in W.P.No.29435 of 2012 dated 18.04.2013, allowing the writ petition with a direction to the appellants herein to consider the claim of the respondent herein and others for promotion.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the appellants submitted that the Appellants herein have complied with the directions issued by the learned single Judge by taking necessary decision in this regard and hence the appeal preferred by the State has become infructuous.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the Respondent has also submitted that the Respondent being satisfied with the decision taken by the Government and further action thereof.

5. The Respondent being satisfied with the decision taken by the Government and further action thereof, there appears due compliance of the order passed by the learned single Judge. As such the appeal filed by the State appears to have become infructuous. Accordingly, the appeal stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, C.M.P.No.8261 of 2017 is closed.
