ORDER

Heard Mr.C.Prakasam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Silambanan, learned Senior Counsel for Mr.N.Umapathi, learned counsel for the first respondent and

Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader for the second respondent.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the parties that as against the order passed in W.P.No.40960 of 2015, dated 30.03.2016, the first respondent preferred a writ appeal in W.A.No.905 of 2016 and the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court, by order dated 27.07.2016, has modified the order passed in the writ petition. Therefore, it is submitted that the contempt petition may be closed in the light of the order passed by the Hon'ble Division Bench in W.A.No.905 of 2016.

3. Accordingly, since the order passed in the writ petition stands modified by the Hon'ble Division Bench, the contempt petition is closed leaving open to the parties to abide the order and direction of the Hon'ble Division Bench passed in W.A.No.905 of 2016, dated 27.07.2016. No Costs. Consequently, connected applications are closed.
