By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This writ petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to disburse the amount due to them on the petitioners' retirement as set out in their representations dated 03.09.2019, 26.05.2020, 03.08.2020, 04.02.2022, 17.02.2022 and 28.02.2022.

3. According to the petitioners that the petitioners had already retired from service and they have made representations dated 03.09.2019, 26.05.2020, 03.08.2020, 04.02.2022, 17.02.2022 and 28.02.2022 to the respondents for disbursement of their retirement benefits. However, till date no order has been passed. Hence, the present writ petition has been before this Court.

The learned Additional Government Pleader (Puducherry) appearing for the respondents submitted that the representations of the petitioners would be considered by the authorities concerned and appropriate orders will be passed on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame as fixed by this court.

5. In view of the above submissions made by the parties and also considering the limited scope of prayer, this Court is inclined to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioners' representations dated 03.09.2019, 26.05.2020, 03.08.2020, 04.02.2022, 17.02.2022 and 28.02.2022 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioners are directed to furnish the copy of the representations along with this order before the 2nd respondent.
