Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to take appropriate actions and dispose of the representation dated 04.11.2025 given by the petitioner on the file of the respondents within the time that may be fixed by this court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to dispose of the petitioners' representation dated 04.11.2025 seeking for cancellation of the earlier approved plan granted by the third respondent for the property morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition.

2. According to the petitioners, their power agents, namely, M.Baskar and B.Mahalakshmi, had misused their authority by obtaining plan sanction, which resulted in the remaining lands of the petitioners getting landlocked. Under those circumstances, the petitioners had given the aforesaid representation. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, they have filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.N.Naveen Kumar, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1, 3 and 4.

4. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents 3 and 4, if they are directed to consider the aforesaid representation of the petitioners seeking for cancellation of the earlier approved plan granted by the third respondent, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents 3 and 4 to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioners' representation dated 04.11.2025 seeking for cancellation of the earlier approved plan, which, according to the petitioner, was obtained by their power agents, namely, M.Baskar and B.

Mahalakshmi, by misusing their authority, after hearing the objections of the petitioners' power agents, and after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the respective parties, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the aforesaid representation of the petitioner. No Costs. W.M.P.No.8272 of 2026 is ordered subject to payment of single court fee.
