[Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to pass orders on the appeal of the petitioner dated 16.08.2017 and reminder dated 27.10.2017 after obtaining the report from the authorized Anthropologist in respect of Kurumans (ST) Community.

2. In the accompanying affidavit to the Writ Petition, it is stated that the petitioner preferred an application to the second respondent requesting to issue community certificate to her children viz., J.Santhosh Kumar and J.Kiruthiga and the same was rejected by the second respondent under order dated 10.07.2015. Hence, the petitioner filed the present writ petition.

3. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned counsel for respondents.

4. Learned counsel for respondent brings to the notice of this Court that the petitioner preferred an application dated 16.08.2017 against the impugned order dated 27.02.2017 which is not in proper format.

5. Considering the submissions made by learned counsel for respondents, the petitioner is directed to prefer an appeal against the impugned order dated 27.02.2017 in a proper format within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the first respondent, the Collector, Dharmapuri shall pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of two months thereafter.
